June 10, 2020 (NYC)- The Board of Taekwondo Life Magazine attended the IOC’s LIVE Teleconference with IOC President Thomas Bach this morning.  Taekwondo Life Magazine President, and former US Olympic Taekwondo Coach, Grandmaster YH Park, was among the 250 participants in this global call.

The IOC’s condemnation of Racism was among the items covered in the call.  In the words of President Bach, “The Olympics are a powerful celebration of the diversity of humankind.”  The Olympic Village was held out as a model for harmonious communities around the world.

Additionally, the call discussed the progress towards the, now postponed, 2020 Games, which will be held in Tokyo, Japan in July, 2021.

Finally, the IOC discussed its plans to limit the number of athletes and attendees in response to the recent COVID-19 Pandemic.
