From his humble beginnings in the 1930s Korea until his death on April 30, 2018, Grandmaster Jhoon Rhee lived a life of personal service, of innovation, and of patriotism to the American ideals. 7th Dan Master Francis Pineda, lifelong Jhoon Rhee student and instructor, joins the program and shares some personal and intimate stories about the man and his vision for a world where Taekwondo was a vehicle for personal and societal improvement. Master Chun Rhee, head instructor of the Falls Church, Va. Jhoon Rhee Dojang, and son of the late Grandmaster, shares his perspectives on his father’s life and contributions to Taekwondo and the world.
