
April 5, 2021 (NYC)- Talking With James Killingsworth. Killingsworth is a Pharmacist, 5th Dan Taekwondo practitioner, and author. He speaks to Taekwondo Life Magazine’s, Marc Zirogiannis, about his martial arts career and upcoming book release, Martial Art Over 50: One Man’s Dream-The Inner Aspect. This amazing Taekwondo, and martial arts resource, was written from the perspective of a practitioner that dove into his martial arts journey after his 40th birthday.
His book discusses many areas of practice, including stretching, avoiding injury, nutrition, sparring, tournament preparation, meditation, and more. The book is filled with practical exercises for martial artists, accompanied by step-by-step photographs to guide the reader. In Killingsworth’s estimation the main quote that is the essence of the book is, “There are no Masters of old age, only students.”
James studied Taekwondo in Texas, under the jurisdiction of the ATA., The American Taekwondo Association.
