  1. Although, it is not the greatest way.
But, I think it is better than having human judges score, because of favoritism, getting paid off, or any other underhanded ways of cheating. I stopped participating in tournaments and many other events due to the favoritism used between schools, Master. Etc. It is a shame that students can’t really participate in tournaments with out all the games being played by Masters, schools, etc.
    Even weight restrictions.
Put a Black Belt, out of his/her weight class to compete. So wrong!
    Humbly Yours in Taekwondo

    1. It is to easy to get a point with electronic scoring. The technology is getting better but it is just to easy to trigger a score. I realize it is technology difficult but considering the different weight classes the trigger mechanism has to be different for the heavy weight classes than the lighter weight classes. Also please score punches. Our art is a joke without punches!
